LSBS retreat AKA Mummy Time

Warning - long post ahead :)

Well I am back from a weekend of creating and chat with an amazing bunch of gals from the LSBS forum - I was a little nervous and felt a little lost without the kids but had a great time all the same, caught up with new friends and old and stayed up way to late - one tired mummy on the drive home and still trying to catch up now....

There was a stack of giveaways and lots of challenges, classes and great fun:)

I will say I haven't laughed so much in a long time and some of the antics that happened over the weekend will be etched into my brain for a long time - I will never look at aq block of Cadbury's choclate the same way for a long time - thanks Helen:) Belle's Ball was hilarious and I got quite a bit of creating done amongst the chat. Hoepfully I can make it next year...

So much awesome talent and the classes were great - here's some what I got up to on my own accord....

Here's a sneeky peak at some of what I created with Belle's awesome class....Belle I would never had done this without your class for that I am truely grateful :)

Miss Lisa's Class - another sneeky peak at the scrumptious mini album....Thanks Lisa -awesome stuff as always:)
Here's my card from Helen's class - the cutting out should be left to the profsessional's I think but it turned out pretty spesh all the same... haven't put a quote on it yet will do that when the time comes to part with my lovely card ;( - Thanks Helen -great class

All up I created 13 LO's(including the three challenges and one for Carol of her gorgeous children), 4 card's card including the fab one from Helen's class, Belle's class mini album and Lisa's mini album - totally stocked!!!!

All in all a great weekend Thanks Cath, Nic, all the DT and Lisa, Helen and Belle and all the amazing gals who went :)
Ciao for now Melxx

Twice in one day....

So here is a sneak peak for the Blindfolded scrapping session I will be doing on August 4th at Littlescrapbookshop - come on over and join in the fun tuesday 4th of August 8pm.

This month there is a colour theme of PINK,GREEN and YELLOW - no other colours (can use minimal amounts of white or black).

As you know I only have two boys and I managed to use these colours :) and yes it's a LO of the boys....

I have also posted a trinket box I did for Jay to hide his things in from Corey's grubby little fingers:) it was for the challenge 29 for pick up 52 over at littlescrapbookshop...

and two cards I did for pick up 52 challenge set by Dee to use opposites fromt he colour wheel and two neutral colours only...

Thanks for looking - have a great weekend
Melxxx

Simplify....

I did this Challenge for Method Playground - you were only allowed to use cardstock, one piece of PP and no embellishments - you could add ink, paint etc and make handmade embies from your cardstock or PP.

I have used paint, ink, sharpie pens, stampin up pens, Jaydens stamp texta's and stamps...
I called it Kind hearted :)

Leave some love and let me know what you think - it's a bit rougher than my usual style but I like it :)

Long time between posts...

It's been a long time between posts - life has got in the way of blogging and scrapping but I'm back...for the time being anyway.

Here's few thing's I have been doing lately...

I was asked to be guest designer for LSBS June Cyber crop and this is my creation - the theme was something different so I chose Mosaic's - which is a great way to use up all your scraps - I did a LO and a card.
The following LO's are for LSBS pick up 52 challenges the first was from Kerryn - the challenge was to only use stickers and not other embies not even thickers....
The next Tracy suggested we were not allowed to used DST or adhesives of any kinds to secure anything on the LO - minimal use of alpha stickers/thickers only - here's what I came up with :)
If time permits this weekend I will be doing some challenges over at enchanted scrapbooking - come on over and check it out...
The website is www.enchantedscrapbooking.com.au
Cya round and thanks for visiting :) XXX
