Back again

Well I have had a heap going on personally and not much time to scrap as the boys have been hit with a viral infection and Corey has got 4 teeth in the space of a week - we have been a very sleep deprived family this week and it's taking it's tole.
We are getting there though and with only his 2year old molars left to get there is light at the end of the long teething tunnel :)

Here a couple of LO's I have done in the last day or so

This one is for a monochromatic challenge at Method Playground - Have never done a mono Lo before and it wasn't the easiest thing for me to do but I am happy with how it turned out.

This one is for a challenge from October Afternoon's blog - you had to use @ least 2 OA patterned paper's from different ranges - I have used Night Life and Hometown ranges.

The last is a sneak peak for my Blindfolded Scrapping Challenge which is on the 7th of April at www.littlescrapbookshop.com.au - checkout the classroom section of the forum for more details...

This is a LO I did for LSBS 52 Pick up Challenge - you had to use a quote for your title - i used BG Marrakech and Dotted swiss and lovin both these products - another challenge goes up tonight can't wait as I am now up to date and have all 12 done - yippeeee!!!!!

Well that's about it for now - chat later :)

I'm back...

Last month vanished before I could say February - I had 3 weekends away in four weeks - yikes!!!!

The first weekend I spent at the lovely Bateman's Bay Beach resort with the boys and Mum, then it was home for a weekend, then I went on a girls weekend with 10 of friends (old and new) to kangaroo valley and then I went away last weekend to Shoalhaven Heads with my sis, BIL and nephew and my boys :)

I loved all three places for all different reasons but if I won a huge lotto win I would pick Kangaroo valley as the place to be :)

Here are some Lo's I completed on my gals weekend away - which also doubled as a scrap weekend, bit of a foodie weekend and definitely a wine weekend - can't wait to do it all again - thanks to Ally, Cass, Kate, Kim, Dani, Carol ,Brige, Cathy and Jen for making the weekend a blast and hopefully a annual event - woohoo....

this one is of my Mum and the boy's at Bateman's Bay...

this one was for the blindfolded scrapping challenge I hold at LSBS on the first tuesday of the month - the gals set me a challenge to used a shaped photo, more than 3 photo's and hidden journalling - the journalling is on the tab above the title:)

I saw these cute little paper clips in Creating Keepsakes and set the gals a challenge when we went away to create their own decorated paper clip - Ally's creation was voted the winner and we all had some fun with it :)

This is one of my bestie's little girls - Janine Kaye took this photo and Lily is totally irrisitable - love how this turned out - I used glimmer mist on top of a paper doily - very spesh indeed :) A lot of these products are from the kit I picked up from Naomi COx - Scraptapestry which the funds of the kit went to the Red Cross VIC fre appeal - very worthy cause :) I scraplifeted the doily idea form Kim Arnold another super talented chiky who happens to be a friend as well :)
I did quite a few 8.5"x11" on my weekend away - they are quick and simple and a change of pace for me but I am enjoying tackling a different size LO - as you can see I am loving that black and white dot paper too ;0

will post again later with come pics from our little adventures - my camera is not talking to my computer- how rude:) - so I had to get a disc done - back soon

long few days...

This week seems to have dragged - even though I have had a few days to get my stuff together I just haven't been able too...the days seems to have been drawn out and I have got no where -maybe it's cause I am heading off for a scrap weekend soon and looking forward to that - I hope the week coming goes fast :)

Tuesday Night I went to see He's Just not that into you...it was very funny and well worth seeing...struck a raw nerve in a few places but I really enjoyed it.

Have completed my Pick Up 52 challenge 6 - You had to use Journalling strips on your LO

and 7 - you had to make a diray for the Pick up 52 challenges and use papers that were at least 2 years old and ribbon

Here's a LO I did for a bingo challenge I posted at LSBS - it's still on so pop over to the general scrapbook chat thread on the forum and join in the fun - goes til sunday midnight :)

Well off to bed - hoepfully the boys will sleep through, Sweet dreams

CAn you feel the love - every little bit helps :)

Happy Birthday to my big sister for yesterday - love ya :)

Had an awesome weekend - my scrap buddies came over and we cropped our little hearts out, laughed our butt's off, had some yummy chicken burgers and even managed to scrap a bit:) it was so much fun gals can't wait til next time!

I also did all of the challenges at little scrap book shops feb cyber crop - once again a fab effort by the DT and Cath for organising a great CC - the site also held a silent auction to help raise funds for the victorian bush fire victims - check out the image below - over $900 bucks was raed how awsome is that. I donted a few items - a couple of kits and a mini alum like in the happy birthday post below - congrats to all who picked up a creative bargain, all who donated and to Nic for her awesome gavel skills :)

Here are a few of my entries in the cyber crop...

This is a long one...been a while :)

First and foremost - my heart goes out to all my scrapping friends and all the people in Victoria affected by the fires - I am thinking of you all and hoping everyone stays safe and takes care of each other - I have donated to the cause as many Australian's have and I know it's not much but every little bit helps.

I have ordered a kit from the lovely Naomi Cox - who has generously decided to donate all money from the sale of the kits to the red cross bush fire appeal - just awesome!

Also, Janine Kaye my lovely scrapping friend and awesome photographer has a special offer on her blog see here http://janinekaye.com.au/blog/ for details - Janine is offering to take shots of families affected by the fires whilst in Melbourne in May - check out the blog for more details - she also has a wonderful mini session idea on the same link if you live locally - check it out the proceeds will go to the Red Cross and you get a photo session - how cool is that - check the blog for availability :) The LO below includes some lovely photos Janine took recently of the boys and I...as I said awesome work :)

Don't forget tomorrow is Cybercrop night at little scrapbookshop - the theme is "All you need is LOVE" -are you singing the song like I am....;) Come over and join in the fun from about 7pm Friday :)

We had a fantastic weekend away last weekend with my Mum and the boys down at Bateman's Bay - it was gorgeous, the weather was hot hot hot and the boys just loved the pool - should have seen the smiles on their faces -priceless.

We went to birdland animal park ( wasn't to fussed with this place) the boys liked getting up close to the kangaroo's and feeding them and we also went to Mogo Zoo - LOVED it - so many cool animals and up close for the kids to check out - it was 40 degrees this day so we got there early and then went back the the caravan park for a dip in the pool.

We also hit the beach (Corey wasn't to fussed on the cold water),Jayden had a ball, played on the jumping pillow, fed the ducks - it was awesome - can't wait to go again!

Will scrap some pics soon and upload - my Mum couldn't believe how many photo's I took - only a scrapper could understand:)

The LO above and the one below I have been working on for Scrapperie's Fantastic February challenges - check out the forum for more details - lots of love themes going on at the moment - never used so many hearts :)

Well stay safe, hug your kids or loved ones and cya 'round

My Blindfolded Scrapping LO

I ran the blindfolded scrapping challenge at LSBS on tuesday night - lots of fun chit chat with the gals and this is what I came up with.

To challenge myself I used this ad below from Better Homes and Gardens and used elements of the design to create my LO.

I followed thestructure of the ad and also the colour of the number 30 for my title which also had a number theme - you can find inspiration anywhere to help kick your mojo into top gear - using ad's from mags is just one way :)

thanks to all who took part - hope you all enjoyed the process and the finished product :)
