Mumma:)

A huge moment happened this week - my littlest munchkin said "Mumma" for the first time!

This makes me so happy - my youngest was born 15 weeks early -the last year has been a crazy emotional roller coaster ride with lots of ups and downs, Corey is progressing in leaps and bounds and the last month he has made some huge advances.

He is now crawling, pulling himself up,waving, giving high fives, eating vegimite sandwiches and generally getting on with it - it is amazing seeing where he is at and how far he has come and I am so proud of him.

It definitely makes all the sleepless nights, tears and heartache worth it...I love ya cheeky chicken!

We have a pet!!!!

We would like to welcome Tooheys (Jay picked the name - no his not addicted already - my parent's dog's name is Toohey's and well Jay loves the dog and hence the name) the fish to our family - Jayden has been going so well with his toilet training and sleeping in his big bed I thought a little "reward" was in order.

Not sure what the fish thinks of his new abode- so far his been thrown upside down in a shopping trolley, heard various high pitch screams of a 2 and 1 year old, fed 4 huge flakes (his eyes are bigger than his belly or more truthfully his owner is a little excited about his new pet) and blown a kiss goodnight....all within 4 hours...probably wishes he was back in the tank at the pet shop;)

Off to bed myself - nite all xxx

A couple of Quick LO's

I did these LO's for the January week 3 challenges over at www.scrapperie.com. - some great talent on this site and lots of inspiration...

"Driving miss Upsy Daisy"

The stash challenge was to only only use scrap PP and no scissors - have used scrap BG and Kaiser PP, along with Heidi Swapp fabric flower, AC chip shapes, prima flowers, Ac thickers, Pink Paislee alpha's, ink and stamps.

Abc easy as 1,2,3.
This was a recipe challenge - you were given a list of the only products you could use and had to create whatever you wanted - the list was 2 sheets of PP only(AC and SR PP used), 4 embies of any kind any colour( 4 Love Elise epoxy stickers used), one button( KI memories gel softie button used) and chipboard title (I used heidi swapp from my stash).

So happy to get a little creating done considering how busy this weekend has been so far and to also use my old stash - nothing new bought for these ones - yippeeee!!!!!

Happy scrapping

Road trip...

Well we took a drive up to Sydney for Roisin's Birthday and boy am I thankful for air con in my car - I think it must have been 40 degrees today and the party was in a park - steaming hot - so much so that the sweat was dripping off everyone - the ice cream cake was eaten so fast that it didn't get a chance to melt!

Here's a few of Pic's taken between cool drinks :)

Corey - exhausted on the slippery dip - looks rather chilled out actually....
How many mini cheezels can a 2 year old fit in their mouth at once????? I'm still trying to figure out the answer -lol
Love these quiet times - both boys totally exhausted slept from Angie's place to our place - an hour and a half of wiggles free driving - magic!!!! :) It doesn't happen often so I had to take a pic - I was stopped at the lights so was very safe ;)

Once we got home the boys had a splash in the pool - Corey cried his eyes out, Jayden had a ball and I got soaked! It was great fun and very refreshing...

Hope your all having fun this weekend...

P.S the mini album was a huge success :)

Happy Birthday!

Here's a little mini album I made ( I followed the instructions from this blog http://jackies-space.blogspot.com - Jackie has some super cute ideas) for my friend's little girl Roisin( pronounced row-sheen) - she is 3 tomorrow.

I used Bazzill cardstock, Basic Grey Prairie range for the backgrounds, Sassafrass Hog Heaven PP - thanks muchly Ally ;), Sassafrass chip stickers, ric rac,, MM ribbon, WRMK ribbon and pink Paislee alpha sickers. I made the little tags by tracing a journelling tab from Maya rd onto some bazzill.

It's so cute and girly - I hope she likes it....

Eye candy for all to see....

Over at http://www.littlescrapbookshop.com.au I have been doing the 52 Pick up Challenges - the challenge this week is to use paper tearing and rolling.

Here's my LO - Candy Kate

Photobucket

I have used some scrumptious Basic Grey Bittersweet PP, October afternoon PP(newsworthy and night life ranges), MME die cut scalloped edge, Sassafrass chip stickers, Basic Grey Rub On, Pink Paislee and AC Thickers for alpha's - it was done and dusted in less than 30mins and I am really happy with the LO.

This is my first LO using such a small pic and I like the white space of the LO(something I don't usually have.
